Among the most important works that the council agreed to assign and approve is the rehabilitation of the southern runway and air corridors of Muscat International Airport, at a value of $54.5m (OMR21m), removal of demolition waste from the Al Batinah Coastal Road – Phase II, at a value of $18.96m (OMR7.3m), providing catering and food services, cleaning services, laundry and pest control services, Oman News Agency reported.
Also, it included additional works on the tender for the dual-road project Adam – Thumrait (Part One) worth OMR5.9m ($15.3m), additional works on the tender for the duality of the Hebrew road, the second phase will be transferred at a cost of $7.7m (OMR3m), additional work on providing design and supervision consultancy services on the project to raise the efficiency of the Sinaw-Mahut-Duqm road, with a value of $2.6m (OMR1m).
Furthermore, it included additional works on the tender for the road construction project Al Batinah Expressway (Package 4) to create links that connect the highway Al Batinah Al-Qaim Road and the villages on both sides of the road. It also included the additional works on the tender for the road construction project Al-Obeila – Al-Fayyad in Al Buraimi Governorate.
